| Annaprabhanda Scheme |
| The tribals from far fetched villages have been facing obstacles in educating their children, due to inaccessibility to schools. |
To resolve the hurdles faced by them, especially for the physically and mentally challenged children, the necessity of providing boarding facility with the school was conceived.
The boarding will endow with simple, basic amenities of food and shelter to the destitute children.
Our Trust encourages the efforts of committed social workers, to take on the responsibility of running such boarding schools.
The possibility of government aid towards the monthly food expenses of such boardings is not immediately forthcoming.
|
 |
Our Trust has therefore started an ANNAPRABANDHA SCHEME ,whereby a one-time donation will fetch an annual interest, ensuring one day's food expenses of all the needy Adivasi (tribal) students at a nominated boarding facility.
Donors can specify the day (birthday, anniversary, etc.) .They can be present at the boarding, if they wish to.
The scheme will run entirely on the annual interest received on Reserve Fund, which will take care of the food expenses for one day. |
